The Mechanical Project Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems within automation projects. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, efficient, and reliable automation solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Plan, manage, and oversee mechanical aspects of automation projects from conception to completion.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Design and Development:
- Lead the design and development of mechanical systems and components for automation projects.
- Create and review detailed mechanical drawings, specifications, and design documents.
- Testing and Commissioning:
- Oversee the testing, validation, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including design calculations, test results, and engineering reports.
- Prepare technical documentation and user manuals for clients and end-users.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with electrical engineers, programmer, and project managers to ensure integrated and cohesive project delivery.
- Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members to ensure project requirements are met.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all mechanical designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Implement quality control processes to ensure the reliability and safety of mechanical systems.
